Ayase, the improved version (at least I think she is improved).  My aim is to combine old style and modern look, like Ryougi Shiki from Kara no Kyoukai.

Her weapon is a dagger (well and sword, too) and a revolver.  I am just experimenting with the revolver, since I kinda like the idea of having a close and ranged weapon put together.

Done a while ago, but I didn’t want to post it since it wasn’t done quite well.  Since I don’t have much updates to my blog lately, I thought I should at least keep it alive as usual.

Now, time to juggle between learning how to draw/color and playing Resonance of Fate.

Well, it’s not really a revision of Ayase since I thought she is fine the way she is now.  I probably just need to do some color adjustment, that’s about it.

She was originally drawn as a more mature type (as in the same age group as Elise).  Then I revised her to be much younger and my friend who came out with her rough idea of her design said he didn’t like her to be young.  Yes, she was originally designed based on my friend specification.  She was quite inspired by Mai from Kanon.

Anyway my work of her here will be an animation.

Ayase working at the Sushi Bar.  This is not the first time I came out with this idea.  In my old blog, I wrote a small conversation between all my original characters talking rubbish.

Worked this on the weekend slowly and I only get to finish it today.

Oh yeah, did I tell you I haven’t eaten and I feel absolutely hungry?  I want sushi.

Do you know that almost all animes have the onsen scene?  For those unfamiliar with the word onsen, it means hot spring.  I guess it’s a form of fan service to expose as much skin as possible.  Yes, yes I said that.  Fan Service.

So, I have come out with my own onsen scene for my drawing.

For those not familiar with my characters.  The front row is Elise, Kyrie (Elise’s stepsister), Emily, Ayase and the one behind is Ikhlas.

There you go.  An onsen scene featuring all my characters in one!

This time is a drawing of Ayase in Miko outfit.  I thought that fits her rather well.  One thing about drawing Ayase is that, it’s hard to draw her right profile as her face is covered with hair.  Therefore you’ll notice that I draw more of her front and left profile.

A great start for 2009 as I have many more to show.  I hope I will be able to keep this up.

Completed this in the office today out of boredom.  It’s Ayase back view in Matsuri.  Something tells me that she seems very tsundere in this picture (even though you can’t see her face).  At least that’s what I think.

It’s already new year, I will need to draw more to practice my drawing skill.

Gallery is again updated!  This is Ayase, one of my character I created.  I have another custom clothes for her, so I will cheat by using the same image and just add something on top of it.  I’ll see what I can do about it.

I still remember how this character is created.  My friend was feeding me with ideas on how she will look like, so I made her up based on what he says.
